General guided hunting information:

Bryson Resort offers some of the finest hunting on the Central Coast of California. The guided hunts at Bryson Hesperia Resort are operated on over 6,000 private acres that surround Lake Nacimiento and San Antonio Lake in Monterey County, California. Our guided hunts run for 2.5 days and are conducted 7 days a week. We use a “spot-and-stock” method for large game.

This amazing area is one of the most beautiful sections of California's Central Coast and is minutes away from over 360,000 acres of public hunting grounds.

Lodging is not included but is available at Bryson Hesperia Resort. We do offer a hunters discounted lodging rate of $75 per night per person plus tax. Airport facilities are available in nearby Paso Robles and King City. Please let us know if we can assist you in making travel arrangements.

Hunters are required to bring the following items:

Valid CA hunting license
Proper tags for big game
Proper stamps for upland game and turkey hunting
Rifle with NON-LEAD ammunition (.243, 25-06, .270, 30-06, 7mag or .300 mag caliber rifles are recommended.)
Complete archery equipment including blinds, decoys, and calls
Game bags
Ice chest to take your meat home

Guided Central Coast California Hunting Packages

Semi-Guided Hunting ......................... $200 / Day Flat rate of $200 per day (Trespassing Fee). Fee is non refundable and carries no guarantees. This hunt includes game cam pictures of recent activity, frequently used trails, and pig bedding areas to assist you in hunting your game. Turkey season fee of $100 per bird in addition to trespassing fee. Fish & Game Spring bag limit = 3 turkey per season (bearded). Fish & Game Fall bag limit = 1 turkey per season (either sex). License, tags and / or stamps are required.
Wild Pig Hunting / Rifle ................................ $700 Guaranteed to show within shooting distance. No guarantee of size. *No trophy fees.* License and tag required.
Wild Pig Archery Hunting ........................... $500 Semi-guided with a 2 pig opportunity. License and tag required.
Guided Blacktail Deer Rifle Hunts ............ $2200 Guaranteed to show legal buck within shooting distance. License and tag required.
Guided Blacktail Deer Archery Hunts....... $2000 Check out Bryson Hesperia Resort's 2009 Blacktail "bachelor herd" on our Game Cam! License and tag required.
Squirrel Shooting ........................... $100 Per Day RECESSION BUSTER: (unlimited squirrel shooting with the purchase of any guided hunting package) .22, .22mag, 17HMR only. Currently NON LEAD is only offered in .22 mag. We have .22 Magnums (with scope) available for rent at $25 per day. Bring your own ammo.
Bobcat Hunting .............................. $200 Per Day Semi-guided. Bring your own calls. License and tag required.
Coyote Hunting ................................. $200 Per Day RECESSION BUSTER: Or FREE with any other hunting package (including semi-guided.) License required.
Dove & Quail Hunting ................. $150 Per Day RECESSION BUSTER: License and upland game stamp required.
Turkey Hunting ............................................ $750 License and upland game stamp required.
